    hi
i want to know how can we develop multi lang sites with revolution
came to know that context will help for this
but anyone please tell me how can we achieve this with context

what i understood is create 4 contexts for 4 languages
when user select lang in the front end need to swichcontext with required lang(or context)
but how can we redirect to the document in another language (or context)

    Thank you

How are you structuring the URLs for the site? In other words, how are you going between the different languages? Is it:

      a) By subdomain: fr.domain.com, es.domain.com, etc
      b) By subfolder: domain.com/fr, domain.com/es, etc
      c) By user login setting

We can’t really give you an answer until you give us more info there.

        Thanks Shaun for your reply

i am trying to create url with subfolder(/es)
//want to try with virtual sub domain for languages but i guess it will depends on server environment
but my present option is to work with subfolder
please tell me how can i achieve this with context’s
also we have some documentation for internationilaztion but hard to find details for multi lang content support
i believe it was still in development but a basic idea will be helpfull for all of us

        Regards
        venu

          Venu,

I’ll be away for a few days (actually still am out of town), but when I get back home and at work (Monday), I’ll try and get you some answers. Or maybe someone else will beat me to it. smiley

          Thanks!

Setup a context for each language and use the fabulous babel component. See also http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Babel
