When you’ve selected a property set to edit, the default properties will show in the grid in the color gray. Properties in gray are not in the property set, but show up there for easier editing. Properties in green are properties that have been overridden from the default. Properties in purple are new properties in the custom set that are not in the default properties.

I hate this; it makes no sense to me whatsoever! It might as well be in Elbonian! I have a lot of work ahead of me, I see.
You should have seen what it said earlier.
It’s like template variables in the sense that, once you get it, it’s very cool and not that difficult to remember.
I think I can explain it, but we probably shouldn’t do it in this thread. We’ll be accused of piracy. (AArrrggggg!).

Ok, I did a fresh installation again; it won’t let me check the first box about having unpacked the files; only the second box works. And then it has the unmitigated gall to abort and whine at me about the zip file not existing! Oh, and the tables are created without the prefix.

Maybe I should move to the freenet channel for conversing. Are you online?

I’m working on the table_prefix issue on new installs in the development branch; could have sworn this was working, but anyway...(sigh) BTW, if you had upgraded from previous revisions, you would have not been affected.

So, for example, for a template I could have the default location for keeping css files in its properties. Would this now apply to all templates? So I could just use [[+styles]]mystyle.css instead of having to remember where I put them?
It would apply to that Template alone. But yes.
If you want it available in all Templates, you can create a system setting for it and use [[++styles]]mystyle.css
