    We recently moved our website from a subdirectory folder to the root folder of the hosting account. Every things seems to work except when we edit a page the "Save" button is grayed out and we are not able to save the changes.

    Any ideas on what may be causing this? See attached image

    Thanks in advance for your help

      This means that whatever update you were making was simply not noticed. It happens to me from time to time. One way I get around it is by adding a space into an empty field like the description field and this usually tells the system that a change was made and should allow you to save. It always works for me.

            It would help a lot if you could note the exact actions that don’t trigger the dirty flag and report that as a bug using the Bugs & Requests link at the top of this page. smiley

            That way it can be fixed in the next version.

              @BobRay --

              I was actually thinking about reporting it as a bug. I wanted to make sure that others experienced the issue too before I did. Now I’m convinced that this is a bug.

              Thx

                Done! http://bugs.modx.com/issues/2896

                So far I was able to link the issue to right-click cut/paste options. When cutting or pasting content into a field in the manager using the mouse context menu, the save button remains disabled. I noticed this problem since the first beta release of MODx, but I never really paid much attention until I migrated most of my projects to Revo. Hopefully it’ll get fixed with the next release

                  There’s so much going on in the Manager forms (especially the Resource form) that it’s pretty much impossible to test them all with each change in the code, so it’s really important that people report things like this.
