I a getting myself very familiar with Modx Revolution and have a question...

In the current builds (and evo) we can use a plugin called ManagerManager to create custom "editor" pages to change labels and fields based on different templates.

Is it possible to do this with CMP on Revo or is CMP more for third party utilities?

If CMP isn’t the answer, does that mean a new plugin would have to be created to achieve this functionality?

I’ve read through http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/revolution/MODx+Revolution and kind of understand CMP but don’t know if it can be used easily to make a custom document (based on template) editor.

    Thanks
    Brian

      What’s CMP? smiley

EDIT: oh.. it’s short for Custom Manager Pages. Those are for 3rd party components that want pages in MODx manager.. pretty much like what Module pages are in Evolution. They are nothing like ManagerManager. That plugin would indeed need to be converted for Revolution (or basically more of a rewrite with ExtJs).
