    Hi,

UPDATE: I believe the environment I’m testing in is supported?

Note: I am not posting this in Jira (yet) since I will need to ensure I have a supported testing environment first. I will update to a supported environment over the weekend and update this post. Meanwhile, I was wondering if anyone else may be experiencing the same?

    Environment: Revo SVN (rev 5416); FF 3.5; Safari 4.0.2; Apache 2.2; PHP 5.3; MySQL 5.1.36 (server) & mysqlnd 5.0.5-dev - 081106

    Bug?

    1. Right-clicking on some packages in the "Package Management" window pop-ups a very small window with scroll bars (see screens below).

    JIRA: 963

    2. a) Clicking on "expand tree" icon in "Package Retriever" window does nothing.

    b) Clicking "collapse tree" icon in "Package Retriever" window makes the packages listing disappear and shifts the "more info window/pane" to the right (see screen). Clicking on finish will pop up the error window "please select at least one package.....". Clicking the Back button and then Next doesn’t help. One has to close the "Package Retriever" window, refresh the browser window and start all over again.

    JIRA: 964

    Tweaks/Minor issues

    1. In the "Package Retriever" window ctrl-clicking to select more than one package has never worked for me; the action doesn’t multi-select. Besides, since one selects packages using check boxes, is this a needed feature?

    2. Missing icon in manager: ico_package_png
(/manager/assets/images/icons/ico_package.png was not found on this server)

    Wishlist/Bug?

    1. If a plugin is disabled in "Package Management", and not disabled in the plugin edit page, the plugin still works - i.e. it is not disabled. Is there a way to synchronise the two? Otherwise, what does disabled in "Package Management" mean/do? Tested with "captcha" plugin

    JIRA:965

    Cheers/k

ps: sorry if this is a wild goose chase...

Not officially at this time, though none of these issues seem related to the server environment (which is great). These seem to be related to client issues. But, MODx is not normally tested against dev packages or cutting edge releases of PHP, MySQL, or MySQL drivers/extensions. We are in the process of testing/refactoring with PHP 5.2.10 and PHP 5.3.0, but we are not currently testing against MySQL 5.1.36 or the mysqlnd extension; to be honest you’ll be pioneering with those in your configuration, and likely the only one with a MySQL 5.1.x and/or mysqlnd environment for a bit longer.

We appreciate bug reports on this configuration and your other contributions in any case. It will help us be able to officially support similar configurations more quickly.

While I’m not using Revo, I though it might be worth mentioning in this thread that I’m having odd intermittent javascript issues with the latest FF 3.5.1/OS X. I think their new JIT javascript engine is a little flaky still.
