In Russian community we started process of Revo localization a month ago. And it’s going to finish.
We took lang files from alpha-6. But today there is beta-1 version.
    So I have a question:
How much the lang files will change during the development process?

To be honest Andrey, I expect that they will change quite a bit. We have the framework in place, but have not spent a lot of time on the actual descriptions or cleaning up the default.inc.php, which we expect to do during beta, along with documentation. I think it’s great that you are working on this, and the process should be greatly simplified now that we can import and export the lexicons from the database.

I expect that we will want to distribute the language packs as transport packages, so you should be able to maintain a configuration of Revo from SVN or follow the diffs in Fisheye, update your lexicon database, and rebuild the language-specific transport package. We’ll be working with the community to make this as easy a process as possible throughout the beta phase. I expect once you get it setup, it will be much easier to share and compare translations than it is in the current releases.

        Ok. It’s a good information.

We took .php files from "\core\lexicon\en" was it right? (You said that we must take it from DB now)

        Upd:
        Does beta actually released?

The build/installation loads the database from those files, but there is a lexicon management interface where you can edit the values easily now, and quickly export back to the core/lexicon/ files. We will also show you how to build a package of a complete translation and be able to recreate the package with your changes so they can simply be installed into a Revo deployment.

Not quite yet; we are finalizing some important features and critical bug fixes and should have it published before the end of the month.
