evo 1.05

Hey all,

Thanks for all your hard work. I am truly excited about all the new developments revo 2.05, new modx site, vision cart’s development, but want an update on EVO 1.05? When I look in the issue tracker it has been at 9% complete for weeks. The revo issue tracker has shown robust activity during the same period. I know Revo and new MODx.com site are more important, but many of us rely on evo. Any ideas?

Evo is absolutely underway and we’re allocating company time to it. That being said, anyone is welcome to fork it on GitHub and submit pull requests for the issues. From a company-focus perspective we’re concentrating on the issues marked critical first, then we’ll evaluate the others and may push out a release when those are done. We’ve done some good refactoring lately to the code that makes a big difference and should limit support inquiries. I’ll reiterate for good measure two things:

[*] Evo’s going to be maintained
[*] Please fork it on Github and submit patches! http://github.com/modxcms/evolution

Thanks for te fast response!
