[Suggestion] More System Events

Hello,
I think, more system events can be vary useful.
I needed to run a code between parser tag translators so i hacked the parser class (in evolution). It means new events can be added in many new places (like onBeforeEvalSnippet & onBeforeEvalSnippets and ...). It makes site and addons more powerful....

I love this :

[onBeforeSayHello] Hello [onAfterSayHello],
[onBeforeIntro]
It is [onBeforeSayName] AHHP [onAfterSayName] [onBeforeSmiley]::)[onAfterSmiley] .
[onAfterIntro]

ROFL that is too good. And I thought this was a serious post and had a few suggestions of events. Now I need to rethink..

[onBeforeTakeSeriously]Think if AHHP is joking[onAfterTakeSeriously]

But seriously i would like events to tie into the manager home page so that we could have a dashboard to display info from plug-ins, for example the number of comments.

Hey, it is serious!
Plugins can do more works with more events...

Snippets should add custom accessible events that plugins can use those custom events.
an event something like this: AjaxSearch : onShowResults , ....
for example in events tab, there is a menu for choose snippet and a field to set custom events so the new custom events will be added to plugin and ....

A filling out of System Events is planned, but if you have recommendations, please fill them out into a Feature Request in JIRA. Thanks!
