I finally got the latest SVN (well from saturday) setup on my server and I noted a few issues. I figure i would ask before opening ticket in case it was already resolved.

    - I can’t edit system settings the require typing (yes/no work fine) I double click to edit and it flashes from normal to edit and back.
    - I setup another manager user and their email was missing the username. I also had an error when creating the user saying to define the username.

Anyone know if these issues have been fixed or what? (CentOS, Apache 2, PHP5, MySQL5, Windows XP, FF 3)

    Thanks

I reported the first one for IE7 and FF3. It’s still unresolve AFAIK. I suspect that it doesn’t occur in Safari.

The second one looks familiar, but I’m not sure if it’s been reported. You should probably seach Jira for it before posting it.

        Hello,

I will look to see if the second has been reported. As for the first issue what’s the number on that so I can add it to my watch list?

        Thanks,

          MODX-488 http://svn.modxcms.com/jira/browse/MODX-488

Being somewhat trivial and a Windows-only bug, it was closed. I reopened it, but it probably won’t have a high priority since there’s an obvious workaround. Feel free to comment on the issue.

I’ve got the same issue in Safari, will post a comment in Jira. (Safari 3.2.1 on Mac OS X Leopard)

I’ve just committed a workaround for the Safari/IE bug with textfields in dynamic-editor grids to SVN in r4733.

I’m glad to hear the issue is resolved, but now I have one more question...

I know this is going to sound stupid, but how do you update a SVN copy after you’ve built it? I’ve just been deleting the folder and checking out a new copy, but is there a better way? Do I just delete a file and run the builder again?

Also I might have missed the reference, but what folders do I need to upload to the test server to run an install?

                  Thanks again for the help!

                    cd to your directory, then:
                    svn update

AMDBuilder, are you not checking out the project? IOW are you just exporting it? If you use svn checkout rather than export, you can just do svn update to get the latest, rebuild the transport and run the setup in upgrade mode.
