I fresh installed modx-2.0.0-alpha-6 (regular package) and everything checked out fine.

Logged into the manager fine via Firefox 3.0.5 and created a template. Tried to create a resource but when I do so, I get a blank page on the right frame.

Everything I’ve seen for blank pages refers to installation and the manager itself?

Any ideas for blank page on Create Resource?

Alpha 6 is very old code at this point. If you can please try the SVN code, though at this stage a lot of refactoring is going on there as well with the manager.

That level of weirdness within the Manager usually means a bad download or upload.

I tried a re-install from SVN. Rebuilt the package, installed ok, but I still cannot create a document or resource. Nor can I see System Settings. I can create Templates though.

          Very odd.

          Any suggestions?

Check the apache error log for any PHP errors or Apache segfaults. The PDO drivers in PHP 5.1.6 were pretty awful and are laden with bugs that can cause Apache segfaults. That would be my first guess.

Thanks Jason. I do see some seg faults

[notice] child pid 26519 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

I will upgrade PHP and report back. Appreciate it.

Just a follow up - this is solved.

Jason is correct - 5.1.6 has some issues, and you will get segfaults

I upgraded my Centos server on Amazon EC2 to 5.2.9 and everything is working now!

                Thanks Jason.
