I would like some feedback on the following scenario.
I would like to use modx as a shared content manager.
The shared content itself must be easy to add/edit/manage.
I have to build a site which has shared content in multiple languages.
They have many different companies who sell their products and this information has to be stored and retrieved from a shared database.
Aside from that, each domain will have their own webshop, which each domain must be able to manage themselves. I’m thinking to use opencart for this purpose.
Each site will have their own layout ofcourse.
A single core is preferable i.e. upgrades.
Is this possible to tackle in modx?
If so, any hints or tips are greatly appreciated.
Users who have experience with similiar setups are very welcome.
