I’m sure this is a simple answer, but I haven’t found it. I did a fresh install of alpha 2 a few days ago and wanted to upgrade to the alpha 3 released today. I was reading on the Revolution dashboard about package management and thought it was saying I could upgrade my core via provisioners in the manager under workspace. I added http://wtf.modxcms.com/downloads/?relPath=core as a provisioner, but it doesn’t show anything to download/upgrade to. I also downloaded alpha 3 and put it in core/packages, but the local search doesn’t show anything either. Am I doing this completely wrong? Thanks.

Nope, we just haven’t gotten core upgrades working via provisioners yet.

Ah grin well that would explain it. So what’s the best way to upgrade then? Just overwrite all the files with the new ones and run the setup again?
