Part 1 looks good to me.

Parts 2 and 3 don’t cover calling the MODx processors directly, but I think are OK otherwise.

I know I am registered,(a month ago or so) yet...where and how does one file a bug report about the sign in page not even having a "Forgot Password" option?

I’m permanently logged in so I never see the login screen.

Bob, yes I did...and please do. Also, while killing time I was reading another post up on the ModX-R area, where someone else was advised to submit a bug, and mentioned the same thing.
