I couldn’t find anyone else having this problem but have tested with 2 installs.
I have created a simple TV input RichText output default. Basically it’s to create an extra info column.
Problem is it doesn’t save anything... I’ve tried setting it as just textarea and that works but the RichText just doesn’t like it.
Main content can be edited and saves.
Is there something I’m missing?
Thanks in advance.
It works for me, but I’m using the development version from Git so there may be a bug that’s been fixed.
I do have to edit some other field to activate the "Save" button.
Are you getting the save progress bar when you save?
If so, have you tried it in other browsers?
Get the same problem re activating the "Save" button but that’s not too much of an issue.
I’m using the MODx Revolution 2.0.4-pl2 version.
I do get the progress bar and it says it’s saved... if I put the same content into the main content window using the RichText editor, that works.
Have tried on Firefox 3.6.12 and Safari 5.0.3 (I work on Macs so no IE), same problem exists with both.
Don’t want to post as a bug if no one else is experiencing the prob.
I’m using FF 3.6.12 (Vista) with MODx 2.0.5-dev. Do you have the latest TinyMCE?

I am getting the problem in revo 2.0.4 that my rich text assigned template variables are not showing tiny mce consistently in the manager. Sometimes it will load it and sometimes not. The problem seems to happen when I have a template with more than 2 richt text box template variables.
anyone experiencing this?

Is that happening in the front end or the Manager?

Hi, it is happening in the manager. I am experiencing the issue with FF and IE.

Is there any chance that mod_security is enabled? That might do it, although it usually affects snippets.
