how to empty/truncate table using xpdo?

Hi all,

I am writing a new class that imports a clients data via XML and stores them in a database. I am understanding xpdo pretty well now and like it. One of the things I USED to do in DBAPI was to just clear a table:

TRUNCATE TABLE mytable

How can I do this using xpdo?

Aha, this can be done using removeCollection

http://rtfm.modx.com/display/xPDO20/removeCollection

// EMPTY OLD TABLE
$modx->removeCollection('Categories');
