I’m just trying to figure out if this is possible. As I’m getting no results (while there’s at least one) I’m guessing the way I’m trying it aint gonna work.
Basically I have a table which holds some extra user data specific to my application, which holds a one-one relation to the modUser object.
Now the modUser object has a one-one relation to modUserProfile and I’m trying to join that one into the table as well. This gives me no results:
$c->innerJoin('modUser','User');
$c->innerJoin('modUserProfile','Profile');
(where $c is a newQuery(MyObject))
Is it possible to join a joined table?
A workaround I just thought of while writing this is creating another alias "UserProfile" in my component object that directly hooks into the modUserProfile object. While that would work for my case (as the modUserProfile uses the modUser ID which is stored in my table too), I can imagine some use cases where a certain value is not found in the component object and this would still be a valid question..
