Sort by ASC... any way to put empties at the end of the results?

I think this must be a fairly common situation: you want to sort your collection in DESC order, but you don’t want the empty results to show up first... you instead want them to show up last. Is there any way to do that with xPDO? I’m struggling to think of a way to do it in MySQL...

Plan B is just live with it and open up a search form.

Not sure what you mean by empty results?

Sorry, I should clarify:

Imagine you have a table with 2 columns: name, email

Then you sort by email, but some people you don’t have the emails for, so ASC sort on email will put all those "empty" people first, then the A’s, B’s, C’s... I think people expect the A emails to be first, the the empties at the end of the list.

Zorro [email protected]
Bob [email protected]
Doug [email protected]
Rando --
Dude ---

Actual
Rando ---
Dude ---
Zorro [email protected]
Bob [email protected]
Doug [email protected]
