modx revolution gallery component re-installed installed but nothing happens

ok ive moved my site to a new server,
i basically did a clean install of modx rev
imported the database
imported relevant files assets css etc.

then did an upgrade, great everything is working apart from the gallery component.

it’s there but just doesnt work, the button is on the menu but when you click it nothing shows;

is there something i can do to fix this ?

Did you set your gallery to a specific album?

When you move a site, you cannot just install clean and import the database. There are files installed with many Add-Ons that are required to be there. The best way is to simply copy the files, upload the original setup directory for your version, and run it in upgrade mode. This will clear the cache, reset the configuration paths, and truncate your old session data from the previous location.
