First off, please excuse me for reporting here but it seems that the bug tracker referenced on the xPDO website isn’t available (

From my experience, it seems that using the "compact" syntax that works with getCollection does not work with getIterator (using xPDO 2.0.0-rc3).
For instance:
$collection = $xpdo->getIterator( 'MyClass', array( 'column' => 'value' ));
will return all entries in the table, just as if the criteria was not applied.
When:
$query = $xpdo->newQuery( 'MyClass' );
$query->where( array(
'column' => 'value'
));
$collection = $xpdo->getIterator( 'MyClass', $query );
will indeed only return the targeted rows.
Please correct me if I’m wrong...
