How do you set session data via xPDO? Normally, I’d just do $_SESSION[’xyz’] = ’something’ -- but that doesn’t take advantage of the glorious possibilities of load-balancing etc.
I’m RTFM’ing... but nothing yet. Any pointers? Thanks!

There’s no session-related functionality in xPDO. But in Revo you can define a ’session_handler_class’, a class that handles session storage functions.

In any case, in your code, you’ll still use $_SESSION, nothing more to it than that. That way you can write code once and changed how it’s cached later.

So you can define how the $_SESSION variable is handled? I thought that was only configurable by php.ini...
