    Hi,

It’s a simple quetion: when I modify my third party package schema, it looks like xpdo doesn’t create automatically new columns in existing table. Is it true? the best and only way to add theses columns is adding them via mysql command?

    Thanks for the help,

    Thierry

Automatic schema migrations are planned for future development, but it is a large effort, and at this time, we use scripts to manage any changes to database structures. This can also be done with xPDOTransport packages where you can attach PHP scripts as what we call validators and resolvers to automatically handle any scriptable activity before each item (or vehicle) of a transport package is installed or uninstalled.

Thanks for the answer and it’s surely a difficult task to implement.
I’ll do it with scripts all fine (I just wanted to be sure since I saw that xpdo creates automaticaly inexistant database table).
        Congratulation for the work.
