Call to undefined method xPDOManager_mysql::getPhpType()

I’m trying to extend the object model in revolution 2.01 by following the tutorial here http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Using+Custom+Database+Tables+in+your+3rd+Party+Components

when I call $generator->parseSchema($sources[’schema’].’storefinder.mysql.schema.xml’, $sources[’model’]);
I get an error

Fatal error: Call to undefined method xPDOManager_mysql::getPhpType() in mappa.co.nz/core/xpdo/om/xpdogenerator.class.php on line 296

any ideas ??

Well crap; you can change the call on line 296 to $this->manager->xpdo->driver->getPhpType() to work around this. I’ll get it fixed in git and issue a patch as soon as possible. Could you go ahead and enter a bug report in the xpdo project for me?

I tried to add an issue in jira (I assume thats where you meant) but I keep getting "504 Gateway Time-out"

XPDO-72 is fixed in Git and here is the commit the merges the fix into MODx Revolution:
- http://github.com/modxcms/revolution/commit/3546af2b21d23d7d35aa5844953ff66838cc0894

This will be in the Revolution release 2.0.2-pl in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, developers can apply these diffs manually in order to use parseSchema().

My apologies for the oversights in the latest refactorings. Here is the patch for this bug which will be in 2.0.3:
