OpenGeek is indeed correct: switching to XPDO 2.0rc means no more (unnecessary) errors in the System Events table.
Admittedly I had to find/replace some of the old constants but once that was done, everything runs smooth. As a bonus, my XPDO-based Manager Module also generates no errors now. Yay.
