I’m trying to get a template up and running by following
http://www.modxperience.com/modxperi/experience/beginners-guide/how-to-create-templates.html tutorial. I have trouble to get the external template included.
Path to file is ok, I checked filepermission
and set it to 777 just to be sure. Set all the files in assets-directory to 0664 and folders to 0775.... no luck The file won’t be included. Put test.html in assets folder, and edited the file in manager BUT....no luck!
[[includeFile? &phpfile=`assets/templates/webdeveloper/tplSecondary.php`]]
doesn;t work : just white page in Preview. Also for
[[includeFile? &file=`assets/templates/webdeveloper/tplSecondary.html`]]
I’ve also made a second "internal" Template and insert code in ’Template code (html)’ and this one works. What could be the problem?

Do you have a snippet called includeFile?
Yes, as Bob indicates, please check if you have the includeFile snippet created and with the code.
Also make sure that you have the tplSecondary.php file in the directory ready to be included.

@bobRay How do I check if this Snippet exists? It’s not in the Snippets-folder. I also looked at 3rd party Packages.
@Charliez What do you mean with ready to be included?
<edit> I googled and found a link with the snippet include. Copy/paste as a snippet and voila it works

The tutorials didn’t ’include’ that step!
Guys thanx
