I moved my MODx Website to a different drive I changed the config.inc.php file to the appropriate path information and change the database workspace table to the appropriate path.
When I go into the file manager of MODx and and edit a plain TXT file it and save it by clicking the save button in MODx it saves it to the original location not the new location even though the edit screen for the file in the Name: text box the correct location and filename.
It seems to me I missed a setting or a file I needed to edit to change the default location.
I found out if you do not delete the old site it will do what I posted earlier.
