How to rearrange fields in manager pages?

Hi All,

i just figured out how to work with form customisation, it’s GREAT!
Does anyone know, can i also move a field from say, the ’Template variables’ tab to the ’Create/edit’ tab.

that way the editor page is nice compact for the client

Go into Form Customisation > Template Variables

Then edit the Tab field beside the TV you want to move. I think you need to set it to modx-resource-settings to move to the front page.

Blink. What? Are we talking about the same "Form Customization" that’s under the "Security" menu? There’s nothing in there unless you create a new Form Customization Profile... where are you seeing the Template Variables settings for this?

@Everett: oops, I missed a step there... sorry about that!

You need to have a profile set up and assigned some access policies, then right-click and ’edit’ to see the Template Variables tab. I guess Ralph already had this set.

To be honest, I can’t remember the exact steps I took to set it up but Bob’s tutorial was very helpful.
