    hi,

TinyMCE is removing <div>'s again. every prior solution on this forum i could find do not apply anymore in version REVO 2.1.1pl
    - in xconfig there is NO minus in front of the div
    - i cant find Manage Elements > Plugins > TinyMCE > Configuration
    etc.

does anyone know what needs to be edited to stop TinyMCE behave like MS Frontpage'98

    Tnx
    Ralph

I am also having issues with this. In addition, it is also eating up HTML5 tags such as <aside> and other reg html such as span.. My client is requesting I keep this junk installed so any help would be greatly appreciated.

This version of TinyMCE for MODX uses an updated version which treats code and HTML5 better: http://store.simpledream.ru/packages/utilities/typomce.html

        Hi,

I was looking for some time for a solution on the HTML 5 tags that TinyMCE could not manage.

Happy to learn that a new version of TinyMCE ==> TypoMCE is the solution for HTML 5 tags.

I install the TypoMCE, modify all the necessary parameters in the system setting for text editor, clear the cache but it is not working.

        - no text editor
        - and the content field is missing

        Does anyone encountered this problem?

        Environment
        Modx 2.2.9
        PHP : 5.2.13
        MySQL : 5.1.44
        MAMP PRO : 1.9.4

        Thank

Have you tried manually deleting all the cache files in the core folder?

I see you're using a French lexicon, it should support that: https://github.com/bezumkin/TypoMCE/tree/master/core/components/typomce/lexicon

            Hi,

            Thank for answering,

Yes, I delete manually all the cache files, and for my TypoMCE installation the lexicon files are the same as those on the Github site.

And I also uninstall TinyMCE, to make sure that I have no conflict between the two.

I will try to install TypoMCE on another local Modx and I will give you the results.

              Hi,

I remove TinyMCE and install TypoMCE on Revo 2.2.4, delete the cache manually and I got the same problems.

              - no text editor
              - and the content field is missing

Plus I re-install TinyMCE and no tet editor only the content field.

Is there settings that I would have missed?
