Google mod_pagespeed

Has anyone tried the mod_pagespeed module to speed up your website? http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/docs/module.html
It works great for the frontend compressing assets... but it causes modx to completely wig out. Sometimes TinyMCE won’t load, sometimes it will log me out without notice and sometimes not let me log in at all. I’m using Evo 1.0.4
Do you think there’s a way to exclude it from everything in the "manager" folder?

I had it installed on one of my servers briefly, but it was causing issues so we had to disable it for the time being. I don’t have any details handy as to what sites were affected and how, but seeing as how 99% of the sites I host are MODx driven....
