I had planned to create a permission Wizard for Revo, but decided that it would be easier to create a tutorial for everything you might want to do (I may yet do the wizard, but not anytime soon).
I added 17 new pages, and just as I was saving the last one, the server went down for maintenance (thanks for the warning Bluehost -- not). I guess they figured no one would be working at 4 a.m.
I lost some work, not sure how much yet, but you can see what’s left here:
http://bobsguides.com/revo-security-tutorials.html.
I think I’ll have to redo the advanced Elements permissions tutorials (sigh). But the others should be more-or-less OK.
Let me know if you see any errors or omissions.

I could really use some help with this security in Revo. Wow, there are a lot of moving parts to this. Conceptually, I think I understand what all the pieces do and I’m getting close to what I want, but no cigar.
I want to create a login ID that can edit a only single document in the manager. They should have no other access.
I’ve followed the tutorial and read through the forums but haven’t discovered the missing piece. At this point I’ve got the login ID so that it cannot see any resources in the manager including the one document I want them to be able to edit. They also can still see elements & files.
I would be happy to setup an id for someone to help me find the answer to this.
Thank you!

I’m not sure which tutorial you mean. Basically, you’d want to follow this one first (unchecking the file_tree and element_tree permissions):
http://bobsguides.com/creating-manager-users.html
Then this one (putting all the documents on the site *except* the one the user should have access to into the resource group):
