    Hi there,

I’ve got some problem. As i’ve installed MODx, it was located under mysite.com/modx

now i’ve added subdomain modx.mysite.com for this path.

If i try to login into manager area through this subdomain, i cann’t get it to work (login error)
If i surf the site and go to "home" it tries to load modx.mysite.com/modx (but not just modx.mysite.com).

I think, there is some problem with base url... but what kind of?

    Thx

      Dopeless, (now there’s a name!)
I would bet that you just have to change the RewriteBase line in your root .htaccess that you possibly set up for FURL’s, most likely from /modx/ to /

Obviously that may cause some issues with the old URL. It can all work together, but you’d need more .htaccess fancy code.

That’s my take. If that doesn’t work, try smoking some dope you so won’t care anyway. smiley
