There’s no way to attach property sets to resources. At present, they can only be attached to elements.

Actually, Property Sets have no direct relation to Resources, so it is not planned for the future—just to clarify. wink

I stand corrected. I thought that was on the roadmap, but I’m not sure where I got that idea.

While writing my workflow engine for MODx i have, again, really missed the option to add custom properties to Resources. In this particular case i need to add state flags which is kind of vital for bmp stuff. To make these non-visible properties TV’s hurts my poor sensitive code monkey soul wink

Guess i will have to be extra clever laugh
            Will report on my findings.

Still think Property Sets should be on the road-map. Could not hurt as i see it. Again, as it has become such a core construct it seems highly logical to let Resources specify custom properties.

Bob, looking forward to your book! Any ideas on how to best extend and customize the ModExt frontend in a sustainable manner? Like adding tabs to panels etc.

            Thnx

If I’m understanding you, a TV with the state abbreviation and a snippet that creates the img from it might work.

I’m definitely not the guy to ask about ModxExt. wink
