Think you need to disable MODx Error settings.

We deleted the id of "error_page" in the settings. Is there another possibility to disable the error-page?

You cannot do this. You must have a valid error_page, and if MODx is handling the requests for Friendly URLs, you cannot use the webserver’s error documents. The rewrite rules for MODx FURLs make sure that any request that is not a valid file or folder is handled by MODx.

thanks for this information. Does this also means that Marc´s solution: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,56650.msg328644.html#msg328644 will not work in combination with a 404-error-page on all events?

If it is not working together: Do you have any idea how we can manage ssl-encryption for single pages and also having a normal working 404-error-page in MODx Revolution?

We are now looking for anybody who can make the SSL-plugin work correctly. We don´t know how much this would cost. Maybe somebody can make us an offer like written here:
