I set up flowplayer as an extra via a snippet and you can easily customize and have a flv player on your site. See: http://modx.com/extras/package/flowplayer.

      Hi there,

First thanks for your effort of making this as an extra, really ease my pain to install it.

I would like to have multiple flash videos loaded on the same pages which means multiple players. I have tried using the &multi=`true` option in the 2nd player snippet call but the page doesn't work properly. If I clicked one video then the player won't load for the 2nd one, clicking the 2nd video won't play at. And my splash image won't load for the 1st video on the same page.

You can browse this link to see what I mean:

      Do you know why?

      Regards.

The snippet is not codded correctly to support multiple videos on the same page. I will review this in the coming weeks and make enhancements in the code.

Thanks for the reply. Look forward to your new release.

In the meantime, I have tried different configuration with the snippet call and found that if I don't use the "splashImage" option, I can play multiple videos on the same page. Each video can be played or stopped independently. However, loading next video doesn't unload the previous video, unlike what Flowplayer's demo does (http://flowplayer.org/demos/installation/multiple-players.html).

          Regards.

flowplayer seems to have vanished from the official modx transport facility for 3rd party components (rest.modx.com/extras).

            Why?

            Is there an incompatibility?

Is there another provider where I can take it from?

Just downloaded it from the repository and uploaded it under core/packages in the file system of my webserver and it's working fine.
