Using External Chunk Files with getChunk()

Hopefully the AJAX request is a Resource in MODX? Why would it not be fully parsed?

Yes that was initial problem that my ajax request was using plain php file rather than a modx resource.

I thought chunk->process would do all of the processing required for the chunk.
