As general "best practice" be sure to enclose your attributes in quotes (so method="post" instead of method=post), also for the action attribute. Maybe (if you’re using friendly urls for example) the not-using-quotes breaks it due to a slash or anything (just thinking out loud now).
I don’t see that coming back in your code, you’re still doing it without quotes. You can use \" in your php to make sure it reads it as part of the string and not php.
That said.. please use
tags with your code to make it easier to read.
Please upgrade your MODx to 1.0.4.
Is the page your snippet is on Published, not deleted and viewable for the user? Try accessing it by just going to its url.
