Hell someone who could help a beginner like me.

I am creating a navigation menu using Wayfinder. When I create a new resource which becomes an item on the menu bar, it’s always placed at the bottom of other resources like the following.

    Home
    Item 1
    Item 2
    Item 3
    Item 4

I want to rearrange them like the following, for instance.

    Home
    Item 1
    Item 4
    Item 2
    Item 3

But I could not find how to do it in the forum. I tried drag and drop, but it didn’t work, either.
Could someone help me where I can find the answer?

    Thanks,
    Kenji

By default Wayfinder’s output is ordered by the menuindex. So change the menuindex values of your ressources in the appropriate way.

Yep, use Menu Index. It’s 0 based, meaning the 1st listing is 0, 2nd listing is 1, etc.

          Thanks, ottogal.
It saved me a lot of time.
I wonder if there’s a cheat-sheet for beginners that tells this kind of simple but useful tools?
          Kind regards,
          Kenji

Not necessarily, if you set them manually. The values must not be in a sequence without gaps. You can use f.e. the sequence 5, 10, 15, ... which allows it to insert easily a new resource between already existing ones (like we did in ancient times with the line numbers in BASIC code...).
