I can’t access the SMF forum as a user on my site frontend. I do not see a way to add the forum to my site menu and when the user logs in I see no forum information displayed. I can access the forum from the site backend from the Module tab by selecting SMFConnector. How do I tie the forum to the website frontend?
I am using
Modx Evolution 1.0.4
SMF 1.1.11
SMFConnector 1.0
XAMPP for Windows 1.7.3
phpmyadmin Version information: 3.2.4
MySQL client version: 5.1.41
I must be overlooking something obvious but am at a loss.
By making my Forum resource a Weblink I was able to put the link to folder containing the forum index.php (assets/forum/). This then brought up the forum in the website front end. I set the Forum resource to a weblink in the resource by
1) On Setting tab select Resource Type as Weblink
2) On General tab set Weblink to "assets/forum/"
