Admin login problem!

Hi! I’ve just changed my admin password, but now I can’t login anymore!
It’s the only user...
So I’ve tried the Forgot your Login? feature, but it gives me ’Error while sending mail to [email protected]’

what can I do then, to login again???
I see that in the modx_user table ther’s the password hash. Can I maybe change that record with a new hash? And in this case, what is the used algorithm? sha1? md5?

Any other way? I’m quite in trouble now, without any login...

Found my answers:

1. Excuse me, I’m currently on 2.0.8pl, so maybe you administrators want to move this post to the revo 2.0 board

2. It’s md5 not sha1

3. Yes, it works. Go to modx_users, change the relevant hash and that’s it. You can find many md5 (as well as sha1) free generators online, if you don’t have one.

md5. E basta cambiare l’hash nel db.
In un altro articolo parlano anche del salt e altra roba ma, almeno in revo 2.0.8 (si, ora mi aggiorno.. ), non ho dovuto aggiungere il sale, mi è bastato generarmi un’altro hash per una pwrd nota (e senza sale) e sostituirlo in modx_users.
