Output filter issue

Allright I have the following code in a chunk:



This:

Shows me the error (This field is required).

But this:


Doesn’t show a message...how come?
Even stranger, is that it does work on about 10 placeholders right before
this one...

Above code works, but only shows "Test message"

The page you have the chunk on...what happens if you set that page to not-cacheable?

Could you explain more about what you are trying to accomplish? It looks like you are trying to change the FormIt error messages, which you can and likely should do differently.
