Member Directory

We have a members only directory which is accessible via login. However, documents in that protected member directory are showing up in the website search results and when you click on the documents, they should require login, but they don’t. We would like to documents to show up in the search results, but we do not want those documents to be accessed without login or registration first.

The site uses MODx Revolution 2.0.7-pl (traditional)

Do a search for "PEMEX"

The First document in the search results is called "Member Materials for Download" with the URL https://www.ofs-portal.com/member/members-reports/

Anything in the /member/ directory should require login, however, if you click on the link, you are able to open the document without logging in.

How can we remedy this situation? If you need more details, please let me know.

How have you protected the member docs?

They should be in a resource group and the members should be in a user group.

You need to create a Resource Group Access ACL entry linking the two with a context of ’web’ and a minimum role with an authority level with a lower number than the one for anonymous users.
