Revo 2.08 Package Retriever Problems!

Afternoon all,

are there any issues today with the modx extras / addons??? I have two sites using Revo 2.08pl (traditional) that I cannot add or update packages? Formit is showing an update (clicking the yes to update takes me through the process but then the saving please wait screen is all I get). Adding a new package blanks out the download button on all packages as usual but instead of returning to the list nothing happens........... Same issue in Firefox 3 and 4 and IE 8.

Any help here would be greatful, both sites were working fine Friday.

It is a problem on MODx server (or a maintenance), not on your side.
They are probably dealing with it as we speak.

We are having performance issues with our server and are working on it.

The source of the trouble seems to be our GeoIP lookup service. Another update pronto.

Hi all, I’m still getting problems. Package manager says "An error occurred while connecting to the Provider" etc and I’ve just checked http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=52208.20

I’ve had my host check and rest.modxcms.com is resolving to 199.47.222.137. They have confirmed that outgoing connections are enabled.

What’s the score on this issue?
