I am playing around with MODX on the iPad 2. Overall, it seems to work pretty well. I can update pages and navigate through the manager, but have noticed a couple of things:
- the manager does not produce a scrollbar when content goes beyond viewable area (such as updating a template)
- components that require a right-click won’t work such as ’update user’ under Security > Manage Users
Has anyone come across these two issues and found a resolution?
I would love to be able to leave my MacBook at the office and use the iPad 2 for simple updates, demos, etc.
The extJS code is not iOS WebKit compatible so the issues won’t be fixed soon.
You’ll have to wait until Mark Hamstra finish his HandyMan (mobile manager) tool which works on smartphones as well as on ipad.
