No. Although PM does FTP packages into the site, there are issues with modxss with the dbase. The dbase and the FTP are not synced.
Uninstalling modxss removed the content, chunks, and TVs. Even if you assign any of those to another category, rename them, assign them to another template, modxss remembers and deletes them on uninstall. But it doesn’t delete the files from core/components directory.

That’s because they are identified by ID number, which never changes.
