Hello,
I have a TV set to only be visible to the admin group I have setup but the TV is showing for other groups. I have an Editor group which has no access to creating or editing the TVs and all the other options related to TVs are disabled in the Access Controls. I assume this is all I should have to do? The TVs are still showing up for any groups. Is this a known bug or am I doing something incorrect?
The document access control is working fine though.

Sorry OG, Resource Groups for permissions. I have no categories setup as I still cannot get them working.

I duplicated the main admin one and disabled all the things I do not want the group seeing. It all works apart from TVs.
I have unchecked all policies related to TVs, I think there are 5 or 6. It’s had no affect but document policies are working.

You mean the main Resource policy? Admin policy is for Context ACL’s only!

I set the Access Controls for each of the groups. I set the Editor group to have no access to TVs, I guess that is the menu options in the tree, they cannot see that as expected. I created a TV and set the permission to only the Admin group but all groups still see the TV in the document if the right template is selected.

The TV permissions in the Context policies control access to editing actual Template Variable definitions under the Elements tree. It does not affect access to TV’s in a Resource. The only way to control that is via Resource Group ACLs or Category ACLs.

) I have tried my best to understand what you explained. I did follow it but it’s just not working for me. I tried the category way but anything in the category is not showing up on the front end.
