Even though there are Access Policies (but no Policy templates), there is no way to select a policy where nedded (e.g "Update User Groups" -> "add context" -> select a policy just shows "no policy").
I installed 2.0.7 to check... no such problem there. Is that a known issue?
Did you remove all the policy templates, or are they just missing?
I didn’t remove them ... they are not showing in the manager. They are in the database tho (cheked via phpmyadmin).
I basically can’t do any login now on the frontend, because i can’t restrict in the backend.
I would try deleting all the files in the core/cache directory, clearing your browser cache and cookies, and then doing an upgrade install.
I just installed a brand new 2.0.8 modx. Same problem. I would guess that it’s some kind of bug in the distribution?! Does nobody have this problem with a 2.0.8 version?
I’m running 2.0.8-pl on 3 sites and all 3 have the templates
Have you tried different browsers?
Anything in the MODX error log?
Does Firebug show any JS errors when you try to look at the templates?
Since I could’nt locate the error I downgraded to 2.0.7pl in a painfull copy-paste action.
Yes I had the 2.0.8pl advanced ... filesystem says 05.04.2011 14:36. Thanks for the tip.
