    I have been trying to get Flowplayer to work as an mp3 player for about a week now. I get bent with the javascript and walk away, then come back and try again..
    I can see the space for it open up on the page, but no player, controls or anything. I have tested the player in my site with their demo, and it plays fine..
    I have reworked it per the Flowplayer documentation several different ways with no luck..

    Does anyone know of a good tutorial or is there anyone else out there who has a working example?

    I am running Modx Revo on a webserver.
    this was my latest and last attempt,

    In my doc head:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="[[++site_url]]assets/js/jquery-1.4.3.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="[[++site_url]]assets/templates/xxxxxxx/sitetpl/flowplayer/flowplayer-3.2.4.min.js"></script>

    Set aside a div in doc for the player:
    <div id="player" style="width:750px;height:30px;">
    [[*player]]</div>

    the call to the javascript is in a chunk, which I placed as default in the TV
    and this is my JS (am a JS newb, so feel free to tear it apart)
    $f("player", "[[++site_url]]assets/templates/xxxxxxx/sitetpl/flowplayer/flowplayer-3.2.5.swf", {

    // common clip: these properties are common to each clip in the playlist
    clip: {
    type: audio
    },

    playlist: [
    {url:’../media/Rob Zombie-Superbeast.mp3’}

    {url: ’../media/Tapping the vein-beautiful.mp3’}

    ],

    // show playlist buttons in controlbar
    plugins: {

    audio: { url: ’flowplayer.audio.swf’
    }
    controls: {
    playlist: true,

    url: ’../flowplayer.controls-tube-3.2.3.swf’,
    backgroundColor: ’#aedaff’
    }
    }
    });

    Please if anyone knows how to get this thing working, I would really appreciate the help and suggestions...

    Am very new to Modx also...I have searched these forums and all the flowplayer topics, to no avail.

    I have witnessed some of the the responses to other questions on this forum and let me warn you now, that tech-speak is a foreign language to me undecided

      does your javascript chunk have <script></script> tags in it? maybe you just didn’t copy them into your post.

        yes, the chunk does contain script tags, is it not supposed to?
