how to link a specific user to a specific resource

Hey everybody,

I have a question about the user management of modxcms revolution 2.0.

I would like to link a specific user to a specific resource. So that for example: user x can only see and edit resource x in the list/tree. And user y can only see and edit resource y in the list.

So basically what i would like it to hide resources from users except the resource(S) they are allowed to see.

If it is possible i would like to know how to do it

It’s possible, but you’ll have to work out the mechanics of how you want to relate them. Easiest way would be a TV that stores their user id or username.

I will have to find out how TV work. So I will have to create a template variable where i can choose which user can see the content/resource.
