How to change owner/group on PackMan files?

when the Package Manager installs the files that come from a PackMan
it installs them with a Owner/Group of 99 99 and they cannot be moved,
deleted, etc.

to be able to move and delete them I need Owner/Group 935 935, BUT
how do I change those numbers?
Can this be done?

You need to setup PHP to properly write files as that owner/group. Often this can be done in the apache config:



Some PHP installs may require you to set this explicitly.

So I cannot do this if I am in a shared server?

or I can do it via .htaccess?

SO, is this a problem of how the account is configured or
a problem on how PackMan packages the files or
a problem on how Package Manager unpacks the packet?

I do not have this problems with any other files in my
accounts...

It is an issue with your server; PHP is writing the files with the account PHP is set to write files with.

That said, you might be able to change the System Settings:

new_file_permissions
new_folder_permissions

(Add these if they’re not there)

To whatever CHMOD perms you want them to be. This might fix your issue, assuming your FTP/SSH user is in the same group as the PHP user)

I dont think they are CHMOD problems,
they are CHOWN and CHGRP which I think
I cannot manipulate.

The CHMOD permissions are perfect!

Apache is configured to create proper permissions for files.

fwrite, move_uploaded_file, and every other standard file moving thing in PHP.

If you can’t edit files in FTP, then that’s because your FTP user is != PHP user, OR your 2 users are not in the same group.
