element category access - only one user group can access an element category?

I want to add element category access policies for a particular element category to multiple groups. From playing around though it appears that I can only add a single policy for a given element category... after that, the element category in question no longer appears as an option in the list. This seems like a bug(?) Can’t even add two different role-based policies for the same element category to the same user group.

What’s up with this?

I think this may have been some sort of bizarre set of permissions/caching circumstances. Has gone away since I deleted all element policies and started over again.

had the same problem, for those who might encounter it too: Logout and Re-Login worked for me, will post that as a bug as soon as I find the time.
