One of my clients would like his contact form’s errors to appear at the top of the page. When someone clicks on the submit button in the contact form, and they haven’t filled in the form properly, they would encounter errors, that is what should be at the top of the page. Is that possible? The reason why I am asking is because he is concerned that when someone encounters errors, the page usually defaults to the top of the page, and people mightn’t think to look for the errors, he thinks people will just close the page and not come back. He currently has Evolution, but I am thinking maybe Revolution might have form, which will do what my client asking. Thanks in advance.
Both eForm and FormIt can display the errors at the top of the page.
eForm does it by default unless configured otherwise.
This should be strait forward. Just have a look in the documentation
SPForm uses JS validation so the user should see a popup if there is an error.
